ITD seeks anInnovation and Continuous Improvement Facilitatorto use lean tools to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and creative problem-solving. This role will support teams in identifying opportunities for improvement, implementing innovative solutions, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence. In support of fostering an organizational culture of continuous improvement, this designated expert specifically serves as a trusted management consultant, provides training and coaching, performs complex analysis and assessments, and formulates recommendations to address opportunities throughout the organization.
The ideal candidate will be able to function independently and within a self-directed team, operate under potentially stressful situations, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong attention to detail, ability to work well with others, and strong communication skills are key. The selected incumbent must also possess a wide array of practical experience in Lean methodology, design-thinking, continuous improvement, training, performance measurement, and change management.

This announcement will fill the opening for aBusiness Analyst at our Headquarters in Boise,Idaho.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
+ Organize and facilitate teams through process improvement efforts to achieve set deliverables. Assist with problem statement development and refinement, as well as scoping and sustaining outcomes.
+ Coach, model, and train leaders in continuous improvement thinking, tools, and practices (emphasizing Lean) and other ITD-specific training.
+ Provide learning strategies to employees at all levels. Teach daily Lean practices, including visual management, process measures, daily huddles, value stream mapping, scientific problem solving, standard work, etc.
+ Collaborate with executive and senior leadership to ensure work aligns with the Department's strategic priorities.
+ Measure the extent to which lean projects move performance indicators. Manage multi-division and cross-agency improvement teams through the entire process improvement cycle to include identifying a problem, sponsorship, voice of the customer, current state data gathering and documentation, root cause analysis, countermeasure identification, and selection, future state design, testing and analysis, adaptation, implementation and rigor for sustaining results.
+ Support change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.
+ Oversees and champions the Innovate ITD! innovation program.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Good knowledge of:
+ Project Management
+ Organizational/business Analysis and Evaluation
+ Process Improvement Methodology
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Bachelor's Degree in organizational development, business administration, or related field. Experience may be substituted for the formal education on a year-for-year basis.
+ Experience and proven success in change management, team building, and facilitation.
+ Proficient in scientific problem solving, data collection and analysis, metric development, and reporting results.
+ Demonstrated ability to guide and influence people without line authority.
+ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills using multiple channels. Comfortable presenting to both large and small groups.
+ Fluent in all Microsoft Suite applications.
+ Willing to travel for projects and training.
