We are seeking a highly motivated and intelligent intern to join our Innovation team for the summer. The ideal candidate will be curious, eager to learn, and agile with a strong bias for action. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in taking an idea and working it with customers until we have a decision whether to develop at scale or not. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Be a part of Fluke early-stage innovation as an individual contributor or a member of a cross-functional innovation team. Typical jobs to be done are ideation, recruiting research participants, interviewing customers, VOC synthesis, prototyping, and solution validation. 

As an individual contributor, execute one or more special projects, which could include arranging customer-cocreation ideation events, or building out Fluke’s software prototyping toolkit. 

Authoring and presenting internship results to Fluke management near the end of the 12-week internship. 

Qualifications: 

Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree, graduating December 2025 or later. We’re flexible in university major or focus area. You could be majoring in UX/human centric design, industrial design, engineering, anthropology, or science.   Prefer a background and/or passion for user research.   Preference for experience with software or SaaS solutions.  Strong analytical, problem-solving, and associative thinking skills.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Ability to write well.   Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  A passion for innovation and a proactive optimistic attitude.
