**Description** SAIC is seeking an Innovative Solutions Systems Engineer. The Innovative Solutions Systems Engineer develops processes, procedures, and templates to establish the customer’s hard problem on-boarding process and shepherd candidate hard problem projects through the process. **Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Manages the customer’s hard problem on-boarding process to accelerate innovative and out-of-the-box solutions to assist programs address the significant capability/technology challenges associated with their cutting-edge programs. + Reviews proposed new hard problem projects and shepherd them through the customer’s hard problem on-boarding process. This involves research, outreach, and analysis to understand what other organizations are doing related to the hard problem and determining what course is best for the customer. + Continuously reviews the customer’s hard problem on-boarding process for improvement opportunities to optimize this critical process. **Qualifications** + Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly + Must have bachelor’s degree with minimum of 14 years of relevant work experience + Experience working across the NRO + Proficient skills using Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) + Critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills + Interpersonal and communication skills for written reports, group discussion, and oral presentations **Desired Qualifications:** + Proficient skills using JIRA and Confluence + Prior US military and/or IC customer experience + Knowledge of GEOINT and SIGINT missions + Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning + Knowledge of cyber security practices and how they might be applied to space SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
