PT Solutions works together with Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis to provide rehabilitation therapy services in order to best serve patients in the area.

Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant assists the Occupational Therapist in the practice of occupational therapy to include development deficits, activities of daily living work conditioning, range of motion, coordination, balance endurance, cognition, and exercise programs to restore function and increase strength.

Your Responsibilities as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant – Inpatient/Acute Care

Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patientsEstablish strong relationships with each patient so that they have ability to exceed their functional goalsDemonstrate a positive connection with patient, fellow clinicians, and other team membersBuild and maintain relationships throughout the community

Qualifications

Associate Degree as an Occupational Therapist AssistantState LicensureBasic Life Support Certification via the American Heart Association

(Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position)

 

Salary range for this position is $27 - $35 / hour
