Responsibilities + Rounding patients in the hospital + Working in the IV clean room + Dispensing medications for patients + Retrieving data for safe medication practice using PCIS + Correcting PCIS entry errors as they occur Essential Skills + PharmD + California Pharmacist License + Experience in hospital pharmacy + Less than 1 year of post-PharmD pharmacy experience Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Pyxis + Experience with EPIC + Experience with crash trays + Experience in transplant medication Work Environment This role is located in an inpatient pharmacy in the heart of San Francisco. The pharmacy is fast-paced and handles a significant volume of transplant drugs, although this role does not specifically support transplant operations. The role includes overseeing IV mixing and compounding, which is primarily performed by pharmacy technicians. The recent change in management has brought in a new, welcoming manager who serves as a good mentor.
