This position assumes primary responsibility for advanced level tasks, functions or an area of specialty, to include telepharmacy, investigation programs, diversion/regulatory programs, medication history collection, and revenue cycle management. This position also authenticates the work performed by other technicians, vaccinators, and/or lead technicians. **Responsibilities** + Maintains quality assurance standards and required documentation; maintains regulatory cleanliness compliance. + Assists in the preparation of medication orders, to include workflow management, basic preparation & dispensing, and non-sterile compounding. + Supports various inventory activities, to include inventory storage, ordering, rotating, beyond use dating, and cleanliness. + Assumes primary responsibility for advanced level tasks, functions or an area of specialty, to include telepharmacy, investigation programs, diversion/regulatory programs, medication history collection, and revenue cycle management; authenticates the work performed by other technicians, vaccinators, and/or lead technicians. + Become proficient in required and continuous learning for the advanced role, including the advanced use and maintenance of associated electronic/automated systems, and any necessary certifications; serves as a subject matter expert, as denoted by advanced certification recognized by Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or other required training outside of pharmacy. + BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position.
