$32 / hour Position: Pharmacy Technician Location: Chicago, IL Pay Rate : $32/hour Schedule: + Full time (M-F) + Start time-based on assignment with weekend and holiday rotation. + Storeroom assignment - 6:30am to 2:30pm + Inpatient Pharmacy assignment - 7:00am to 3:00pm or 10:00am to 6:00pm Weekend Requirements: Rotating weekends Duration: 3 months (Likely Extension) Requirements: + 1 recent year of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in an inpatient setting + Must have IV compounding experience + Licensed as a Pharmacy technician in the state of Illinois + Must hold active certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) program or Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT) + Must be able to lift and transport objects up to 50 pounds. + Must be able to receive medications from the loading dock, storeroom, or outside delivery. + Requires physical mobility and mental alertness. + Requires various types of physical exertion including, but not limited to, walking, climbing, pulling, pushing, prolonged standing, and lifting and moving heavy objects. + Must have the ability to maintain accurate Pharmacy inventory and supplies. + Must be able to analyze stock requisitions and store inventory and supplies in proper locations.
