Inpatient Pharmacy Technician Supervisor

Description:Come join our Pharmacy team at Saint Mary's Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Of New England!

Position Purpose

Provides safe, quality technical and non-technical functions which assist in provision of pharmaceutical care under the supervision and direction of a registered pharmacist in accordance with level of experience, education, policies and procedures. Accountable for leading, managing and advancing people, processes and / or programs that support direct or indirect patient care.

What you will do

Supervise daily functions, professional & frontline staff

Support alignment and standardization for Pharmacy services across the continuum of care to provide high-quality, cost-effective patient care

Monitor quality assurance activities and issues, identifies opportunities, and creates corrective action plans to improve operational effectiveness

Collaborate in identifying analytics and metrics to demonstrate baseline and performance improvement targets

Support medication safety measures and efficient operational processes

Support optimization of procurement and distribution processes

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

CT registration as a Pharmacy Technician

Three (3) years of experience

National PTCB certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
