Day (United States of America)BurlingtonPosition Summary: Under the supervision of the manager and working within their scope of practice as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Physical Therapist I assesses, plans, organizes, and participates in rehabilitative programs that improve or restore physical function, alleviate pain and prevent dysfunction in patients with impairments, functional limitations, disabilities or changes in physical function and health status from injury, disease or other causes.

Develops and maintains physical therapy skills and knowledge of Lahey Rehabilitation Services Career Ladder as described in the “Rehabilitation Services Career Ladder Documentation”.8) Organizational Requirements:
Maintains strict adherence to the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center Confidentiality Policy.Incorporates Lahey Hospital and Medical Center Guiding Principles, Mission Statement and Goals into daily activities. Complies with all Lahey Hospital and Medical Center Policies. Complies with behavioral expectations of the department and Lahey Hospital and Medical Center.Maintains courteous and effective interactions with colleagues and patients.Demonstrates an understanding of the job description, performance expectations, and competency assessment.Demonstrates a commitment toward meeting and exceeding the needs of our customers and consistently adheres to Customer Service standards.Participates in departmental and/or interdepartmental quality improvement activities.Participates in and successfully completes Mandatory Education.Performs all other duties as needed or directed to meet the needs of the department.Minimum Qualifications:
Education: BS Physical Therapy from an accredited program.Licensure, Certification, Registration: Active MA Physical Therapy license OR Candidates for licensure who have submitted a complete and accepted application for licensure “BY EXAMINATION ONLY”American Heart Association – Basic Life Support (BLS) certified.
