As an Inpatient Psychiatric Therapist you will be providing assessment, programming, and individual and group therapy to adult psychiatric patients.
Implements protocols and procedures for patients suffering psychiatric diagnosis.
Schedules personnel to provide coverage for all scheduled therapeutic groups and to meet patients’ routine and special event needs.
Evaluates current literature and study/research findings for application to dual diagnosis therapies.
Develops instructional materials for use in patient teaching.
Education and Training:
Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Psychosocial Sciences, Nursing, or an
appropriate related field
Masters Degree preferred
Experience and Knowledge:
3 years’ experience in inpatient or residential mental health experience preferred
or 3 years experience in inpatient or residential substance abuse
