Inpatient Registered Nurse

Inpatient Nurse - Paying up to $43/hr. - Day Shift

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Inpatient Nurse to join our dynamic surgical team. Participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership while working coperatively with other healthcare staff. Works as liasion between the physician and the patient ensuring both physicians and patients needs are equally recognized and resolved.

Promotes the mission, vision and values of the organization.Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.Assures quality of care by adhering to hospital care and therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and regulatory standards.Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Plans, coordinates and participates in patient care in accordance with the patient’s needs, physician’s plan of care, standards of care and organizational policies Assesses the patient’s physical, psychological and social needs and sets goals, including discharge planning

Skills & Qualifications:

Current licensure in the State of Kansas as a Registered Nurse.Minimum of three years of progressive work experience in an Operating Room, including both clinical and management skills..ACLS or ALS and PALS certifications, or the ability to obtain them within six months of employment.IAbout Actalent
