Responsibilities
Our Nursing units, while separate, work together; and nearly all Surgery, Inpatient, and Emergency RN’s are cross trained to work in the other departments. You will receive individual, personal attention to ensure your long term success in this role. We practice and value teamwork and collaboration here. Everyone steps up to help whenever the need arises and everyone will know your name in no time!
What You’ll Do
This is an excellent role for someone who dislikes routine and wants to keep their skills sharp. Your day-to-day nursing tasks will depend on the tailored needs of your patients.
Collaborate with physicians and nursing team to devise and implement individualized care plans for patientsAdminister medications change dressings monitor vital signs and chart with timely documentationCollaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work care coordination physical therapy occupational therapy lab respiratory therapy and imagingEducate patients and their families on prevention and healthy habits while fostering a supportive and compassionate environmentQualifications
What You’ll Need
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required upon hire
Specialty certification may be required after hire
