The Inside Account Executive's purpose is to build a book of business and sell to SHI’s customers within an assigned region. The Inside Account Executive will profile accounts through cold calling and prospecting, while developing and maintaining customer relationships by understanding and creating pricing quotes for their IT product, solutions, and services needs.

 

This position is required to report to the SHI Austin, TX office location as determined by SHI management.

Include, but are not limited to:

Profile accounts through cold outreach and prospectingEstablish and develop customer relationships via email and phone within assigned book(s) of businessHelp customers select, deploy and manage various aspects of their IT environmentQuote and place orders based on customer requestsGrow existing active buying accounts through profiling and managing projects through the entirety of the sales cycleConsistently hit daily and monthly activity goals: monthly meetings, monthly pipeline additions, and daily dials and talk timeRetire monthly/quarterly production quotaFacilitate customer meetings by proactively reaching out to customers and pre-scheduling the meeting with SHI internal resourcesAcquire and manage the IT needs of small- to medium-sized businesses while providing customers with a best-in-class customer experienceCollaborate and co-sell with SHI internal resourcesResolve customer inquiries, determine customer pain points and offer solutions to solve customer IT challengesMaster utilization of internal sales systems and tools, including our customer relationship management (CRM), enterprise resource planning (ERP), ordering, sourcing, and quote creation toolsProvide customers insight around industry leading technology and IT trendsKeep updated on product and industry knowledgeAttend product and sales trainings as required Qualifications Completed Bachelor’s Degree (College/University)Passion for customer outreach and delivering a personalized customer service experienceGrowth mind-set with a strong desire to learn new skills and processesProficiency in business productivity tools (Microsoft) - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Required Skills Ability to cold call and create new businessAbility to grow existing customer relationshipsAbility to learn new concepts and processes quicklyAbility to prospect, negotiate, and close dealsAbility to give and receive constructive feedbackAbility to effectively communicate complex subject matter, both verbally and writtenAbility to prioritize customer requests and projects based on timelinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal and customer service skillsStrong problem-solving and organizational skillsExcellent consultative sales skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment Additional Information The estimated annual pay for this position ranges from $40,000 to $150,000, including base salary and commission. Compensation varies based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
