Inside Sales Coordinator
Job Title: Order Entry SpecialistJob Description The Order Entry Specialist will create, coordinate, and manage quotes and purchase orders within the assigned region. This role involves collaboration with Order Entry Manager, Regional Sales Managers, customer service representatives, application engineers, and production teams. As the main factory point of contact for a given territory, the specialist will work with Architects, Lighting Designers, Electrical Distributors, Sales Rep Agencies, Regional Sales Managers, Inside Sales Manager, and End Users to provide exceptional customer service and product support in a professional manner. Responsibilities + Generate quotes for standard and custom modification lighting products in collaboration with the engineering team. + Enter purchase orders received into the company MRP system. + Act as a liaison between Representatives, sales managers, and internal staff. + Provide product pricing and availability information via phone and email to company sales representatives. + Work with Sales Engineer and other departments to provide project documentation and support. + Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the functions, features, and benefits of the company’s product offerings. + Assist Sales with costing quotes to improve profitability requests, including calculating figures such as discounts, commission, percentages, and fractions. + Analyze construction drawings and documentation to determine proper system functionality and costs. + Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. + Maintain effective communication with Inside Sales Manager and Regional Sales Managers to streamline the quoting and ordering process. + Maintain and update the company MRP/CRM database. + Assist Reps and Regional Sales Managers with solutions on customer application requests. + Work with Sales Engineer to assist with product specification and technical questions. + Attend and participate in meetings and training programs. + Maintain open communications with clients regarding the status of quotes and released orders. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Test Required) + Experience in order fulfillment, reporting, supply chain, order entry, data entry, and customer service. + Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office. + Customer service oriented. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 2+ Years experience in an order entry type capacity. + Bachelor Degree. Work Environment Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. Office environment.
