Inside Sales Leader

About This Role

                                                                                                         

The Inside Sales Leader develops overall strategic direction for the interface between the Customer, Operations and Sales for all training events for customers from the Americas.  This position leads the Account Executive (AE) team which is the single point of contact for our existing and newly onboarded customers.  This diverse team of Account Executive Managers, Group Leaders, Sales specialist and Sales Receptionists reside in multiple locations across North and South America. Accountable for achieving territory revenue goals both total and related to customer retention.   Identifies and implements key process changes for the customer booking policies. Assumes the role of a customer advocate for the best possible training experience for customers, while also looking to maximize the revenue impact of each customer.  This position is expected to have excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to understand the complexities of CAE’s business aviation training business. The Inside Sales Leader is expected to drive results by fostering a partnership between Sales and Operations while championing client needs.

People leadership of Account Executive Managers, Group Leads, Sales Specialist and Sales ReceptionistsDevelop a talent pipeline within the organizationAligns team to standardize/support all Americas Sales Leaders and corresponding teamsExceeds customer retention and territory revenue goalsIn conjunction with Customer Excellence team provides weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting on key sales metrics and forecastsCreates action plans to hit key objectives and results while setting agile goalsWorks with the Americas Sales Leaders on designing system and process enhancements for global sales process and assisting with change management of the teamLeads training efforts for team on system knowledge and processesEnsures bookings are entered quickly, accurately, and optimallyAnalyzes team size and territory allocation for AEs on an ongoing basisAssist with input for design of teams incentives plans and execution of those plansAssists in developing annual revenue budget and proper allocation among regions/territoriesInstills customer service culture within the team and ensures that customers’ needs and concerns are addressed in a timely and efficient mannerPartners with operations through the use of the sales specialist role to highlight key openings within programs, create potential off cycle courses, work the waitlist and ensure we have a minimum number of temporary reservationsEnsure team has in depth and up to date product knowledgeAssists with customer AR collection working closely with finance and the process related to the sales teamWorks closely with European and Asia counterparts to share best practicesProactively maintains and grows internal and external relationshipsOther projects/responsibilities as assigne

Work Experience and Education

Proven people leader with sales experienceAnalytical and results driven mindsetBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, master degree a plus10+ years aviation experience, with business aviation sector strongly preferredMust possess strong interpersonal and communications skillsCustomer centric mindsetSolid negotiation skillsStrong listening skillsExperience with leadership of remotely located and diverse teamsExcellent in verbal and written communication in EnglishBilingual in Spanish, French or Portuguese is a plusWorking knowledge of Aviation Training Regulations preferred
