Inside Sales Manager

Position Overview:

Under the direction of the Director of Commercial Sales, the Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for supervising the inside sales team and conducting department training in accordance with company policies and procedures. Duties include working closely with the Director of JFW Commercial Sales to ensure the team is achieving revenue and meeting profit margin goals. This position requires a high level of relationship building, planning and organizational skills to achieve the company directives. 


Responsibilities:


Inside Sales Team Management:

· Coordinate with the Director of Commercial Sales and team to design and implement training software in the areas of new employee orientation, critical systems training, and advanced commercial sales training. 

· Maintain, adjust, and improve training platform as needed to address changes and new needs 

· Manage the training needs of the department and take action to achieve desired results

· Provide direct supervisory oversight over the Inside Sales Coordinator(s). Delegate tasks and responsibilities to the Inside Sales Coordinator(s) and hold them accountable for completion of projects in an accurate and timely manner at the direction of the Director of Commercial Sales

· Oversee on-boarding new hires which includes training on all software systems and verification of completion

· Work closely with the Director of Commercial Sales for staffing, terminations, disciplinary actions, training, and developing subordinates

· Responsible for completing adequate performance documentation on time

· Responsible for ensuring accuracy of timecards and approving them in a timely manner

· Provide training and support for the Inside Sales Coordinator to help the Commercial Dept. run most efficiently and achieve sales and gross profit goals


Commercial Sales Support Management:

· Assist the Commercial Account Managers (CAMs) with product selection, layout, presentation creation, quote review, lead generation and account management.

· Provide weekly reports to the Director of Commercial Sales detailing actual sales, forecast sales, open booked orders, open quotes, and pipeline for all CAMs

· Communicating commission payout and status of all referrals to retail staff on a monthly basis

· Manage the CRM database adjusting data as needed with territory changes and staffing changes. 

· Collaborate with IT and oversee all licenses and software ensure the most efficient tools are being provided to the commercial sales team at the most cost-efficient method possible

· Monitor competitive activity in the market and identify new competition and/or changes in competitor’s activities.

· Process check requests and accounts payable requests for all necessary commercial dept. expense such as trade shows, software licenses, etc. 

· Update commercial accounts receivables weekly and publish updates for the commercial team to access. Work with CAMs, customers, and accounting to secure payments and clear up outstanding receivables.

· Update and communicate increases and provide new pricelist to appropriate supply chain personnel 

· Oversee incoming orders for proper sales tax exemption certificates, identifying any missing certificates, and working with CAMs and accounting to have them filed with orders.

Requirements


Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in business or other related subject required


Experience:

· Have full understanding of fitness industry trends, procedures, compliance, and regulations related to commercial fitness sale environment.

· Commercial exercise equipment industry experience and sales management experience is required

· 3 or more years’ experience of managing and training direct reports is preferred

· Proficient in Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe required

· Experience with the following computer systems highly preferred:

· ECDesign

· Nutshell CRM or similar


Other Requirements:

· Valid drivers’ license is required
