I want it!We are seeking an exceptional sales leader to join our DoD team as Inside Sales Manager. This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Public Sector Digital Sales. In addition to requisite passion, skills and experience, the successful candidate will have a measurable track record in building and managing high performing inside sales teams. This individual will play a key role in driving a significant share of revenue for Splunk. What you'll get to doDirectly manage the inside sales team and work closely with outside sales management and account managersConsistently deliver on aggressive revenue targets to provide double digit growth on an annual basisStrong ethics to coach and audit pipeline for repsPlayer/coach: Hands on with the team; very involved with sales calls, territory/opportunity management, and strategyResponsible for accurately forecasting on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis. This will require, but not be limited to holding weekly forecast reviews and deal strategy sessionsSupport Sr. Manager of Public Sector Digital Sales in implementing strategic initiatives and promoting a high energy, high activity environmentWork with partners for maximum effectiveness and territory expansionLeverage sales engineering in house as well as partner services resourcesHire, train, and retain the right team to match our growthGood corporate citizen – two way flow of relevant and timely information; work as a team for the most efficient use and deployment of resourcesProvide timely and insightful input back to other corporate functions, particularly product management and marketingWrite performance reviews for direct reports and present to the ISR’sMust-have QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.2+ years’ experience building and running a Digital Sales sales team; ability to grow and scale upward with the company; second line management experience a plus4+ years B2B software sales or leadership experienceExceptional leadership, interpersonal, written and presentation skillsThrives in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environmentUse CRM systems (Salesforce) extensivelyMust currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full time basisNice-to-have QualificationsWe’ve taken special care to separate the must-have qualifications from the nice-to-haves. “Nice-to-have” means just that: Nice. Note:

OTE Pay Ranges

For sales roles the ranges are expressed as On Target Earning or OTE (OTE = base + incentives in the form of sales incentive plans).

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

On Target Earnings: $184,000.00 - 253,000.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), New York (excludes NYC Metro Area), and all other states.

On Target Earnings: $160,000.00 - 220,000.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the On Target Earnings (OTE) range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the OTE pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to OTE, this role may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
