Inside Sales Rep

**Summary/Objective**
The inside sales specialist position develops, maintains, and interacts primarily utilizing phone and electronic communication to a broad scope of new and existing customers within the water, wastewater, and industrial markets to increase sales of products and/or services. Develops sales strategies designed to demonstrate the features and benefits of the products to achieve increased sales and profitability.
**Essential Functions**
1. Contact partners through, but not limited to, phone calls, emails, mailings, fax, and seminars to communicate opportunities to extend initiatives with the company.
2. Match programs to customer requirements, and close contracts for defined programs.
3. Collaborate with marketing, support, community management, product management, and account management to facilitate new programs, messages, campaigns, and offerings.
4. Ensure handoffs to community management, development, and support are successful, and exceed customers' satisfaction.
5. Ensure reporting and communications is frequent and bi-directional.

**Supervisory Responsibility**
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
**Work Environment**
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
**Physical Demands**

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work**
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the potential of overtime. This is not a remote position.
The employee would work out of our New Prague, MN office located at 201 4th Avenue SW, New Prague, MN 56071.
**Travel**
Travel is very minimal for offsite supplier training and occasional tradeshows.
**Preferred Education and Experience**
A high school diploma is required with 2 years of related experience or an Associate's degree in a technical or business discipline. Related experience would look like a minimum of 2 years in sales or sales support experience and 2 years in customer service, public speaking, or training role.

**Pay Details:** $52,000.00 to $62,400.00 per year
