Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative will contribute to the mission of protecting our customers’ people, business, and time by delivering excellent service and accurate information. This position will collaborate with all levels of the organization to contribute to company growth. The Inside Sales Representative will build and maintain relationships with current and future customers to assist with their needs in a work zone for Traffic Control, Flagging, and Sign Install, as well as support their needs for Traffic Control equipment, rentals, and sales.

Coordinate traffic control set-ups for customersTrack and manage all projects in our ERP SystemContribute to the growth of the company and our Automated Flagger Assistance Devices (AFAD’s) utilization for customersAssist with the growth of the Signs and Sales division with installs and/or signs/equipment salesParticipate in the continual improvement of the process, tracking, production, and billing of each projectClear understanding of the sales funnelResponsible for meeting with current and potential customers to grow and maintain a relationshipBuild and maintain a book of business and generate leads for future growthTrack all customer contacts, and review invoices to ensure customer accounts are accurateEnsure prompt, dependable & friendly customer serviceUnderstanding of P&L and how that relates to the businessMeet or exceed a goal of $3,800,000 or more in total revenue for the year: traffic control equipment, rentals, and salesSchedule/attend 1-2 appointments per day or over 350 per yearAttain 12-15 new orders per week with a goal of 1-3 large orders per monthOther duties and responsibilities as assignment.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION

High School Diploma or GED required3+ years of experience with both inside and outside sales preferredOrganized with an intense focus on accuracy and attention to detailProblem-solving skills and critical thinking skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills as well as meticulous attention to detailAbility to develop, foster, and manage customer relationshipsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite Products (Excel, Word).Excellent problem-solving skills and creativityMultitasker with attention to detailAbility to work alone and with a teamDrive to learn new skills and aspirations to move up in the future

The employee must be able to successfully handle the physical demands of this position, which include the following:

The hiring range for this position is $60-70K per year. The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
