Inside Sales Representative
The Inside Sales Representative is primarily responsible for receiving and processing in-bound prospect and existing account sales activity. This position is a key revenue enabler by connecting the organization to the market. The Inside Sales Representative maintains regular contact with the customers to ensure their satisfaction. Time spent managing accounts should be roughly 75% versus prospecting which should be 25% to support business objectives. **Responsibilities:** + Promptly and professionally, processes in-bound sales activity by quoting product quantity based upon data provided by customers or prospects, prices, delivery specifications and payment terms and by offering substitute products where appropriate + Sells, markets, promotes, demonstrates products and increases business through product sales to new customers and through additional sales to existing customers + Prospects for new accounts within specific scope + Gathers and reports to management information regarding the company, competitors, pricing, products and current and future market trends as well as assists management and vendors in planning, tracking and implementing sales strategies and developing new markets + Work closely with Inside Sales Manager and operations on ensuring the product balance as it pertains to the area + Assists in survey of prospects and existing accounts for possible marketing initiatives with strategic sales and marketing teams + Maintain the Carmeuse database on all customers, potential customers and competitors, and ensure this database contains all relevant information required to drive Carmeuse sales and marketing initiatives + Oversee customer pricing, quotes, sales budget, sales forecasts, and reports for accounts through use of Carmeuse databases following policy, procedures and management guidelines + Provide support to other Carmeuse team members at key customers and prospects when required + Responsible for the development and continuous maintenance of the prospect list for the business area + Implement tactical plan to build strong customer relationships + Other responsibilities as assigned by the manager **Requirements:** + Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in business or related field + 3-5 years business experience + Industry experience a plus + Technical ability and solution selling skills + Travel up to 25% **Knowledge:** + Previous experience in phone sales is preferred + Knowledge of Lime industry & stone and/or key customer base is preferred + Proven ability to develop relationships via phone communications + Ability to gain technical knowledge of product applications + Proficient in Salesforce is a plus **Benefits & Compensation Package Includes** **:** + Salary range for this position is $70,000- $78,000 + Paid holidays and vacation time + Group medical/pharmacy insurance options with company funded health care spending accounts + Dental insurance & Vision insurance + A 401k account with company matching contribution + Company-paid life insurance and short-term and long-term disability insurance + Options to purchase additional life insurance (employee, spouse, and child) and additional employee long-term disability insurance. + Employee Assistance Program (EAP) + Tuition benefits including professional certifications _About Us_ _READY TO JOIN A ROCK-SOLID FAMILY?_ Carmeuse started out as a small family-run business in Belgium.
