Do you have a positive attitude? Are you a people-person? Do you enjoy sales? This Inside Sales Rep (ISR) opportunity is for you! You will have the chance to become the face of the store and the person customers rely on when they stop in. Friendly customer service is key. Our customers can buy a 2x4 anywhere – they come to us because of the customer service.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Greeting customers as they come in the store.
+ Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions.
+ Working with customers to identify and provide solutions to their product needs by providing consultative sales.
+ Responding to customer inquiries regarding product information, placement of orders, requests for pricing and provide customer follow-up when necessary.
+ Accepting payments and apply the payments correctly to the appropriate customer account.
+ Answering phones when necessary.
+ Develop and maintain strong knowledge of all existing product lines and new product lines.
+ Maintain knowledge of pricing, inventory, merchandise promotions, and advertisements.
+ Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the needs of customers are consistently met in a timely and efficient manner.
+ Maintaining shelf stock to provide merchandise to meet customer needs.
+ Assisting with conducting physical inventory.
+ Maintaining cleanliness on the store floor and surrounding areas at all times.
+ All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications of the ideal candidate include:
+ High school diploma or equivalency.
+ Previous experience in a consultative sales role.
+ Strong customer service skills.
+ At least 2 years of experience in retail sales.
+ Strong interest in learning the building material product lines.
+ Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
+ Computer literacy and knowledge of current office technology.
+ Exceptional organizational skills.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Ability to pass drug and background screening.
