• Receive and process requests directly from customers (via telephone and mail) for price quotations, product availability, orders, material returns, billing corrections, product information, order changes, and cancellations.
• Plan and implement telemarketing and prospecting objectives.
• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, emails, and various communication channels.
• Prospect and convert warm and cold leads into customers.
• Prospect call preparation including company research and other pertinent lead information.
• Analyze customer's buying trends and provide reports.
• Enter, update, and maintain CRM information on leads, prospects, and opportunities.
• Quickly and smoothly resolve customer complaints and problems.
• Generate price quotations in a timely manner.
• Input Sales Orders (SOs), Quotes, and Freight quotes.
• Coordinate incoming sample requests. Work with Marketing to ensure proper sampling inventory levels are maintained.
• Achieve assigned monthly customer engagement targets as assigned.
• Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty.
• Understand and adequately describe the product or service to the customer.
• Manage workload and process through effective problem-solving solutions, execution of daily tasks, and administration duties.
• Provide support to Outside Sales force.
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-1-3+ years of sales or related experience
-Proficient in Microsoft Office
-Construction, logistics, or procurement industry experience preferred
