SalaryRange: $20.00-$25.00 Hourly depending on experience

Shift/Schedule Requirements: Ability to work various shifts and days including nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for achieving revenue and customer satisfaction goals by negotiating group business & coordinating the execution of that business with other departments. This individual supports the overall sales efforts for multiple properties,

Responsibilities:

Achieves budgeted goals by executing sales activities within assigned market segment. Assists in the development of annual sales goals. Assists in the completion of weekly booking report. Maintains effective internal and external correspondence. Develops data and recommends programs to meet client's needs.Prepares proposals that are geared to maximize profit while satisfying client needs. Solicits files on a timely basis to confirm business. Uses outside sales calls to solicit existing and new clients. Conducts on-site client inspections and entertainment.Contacts in-house customers to foster additional business or repeat bookings.Maintains proper flow of information within hotel by reviewing sales work file.Develops plans, special sales, activities and promotions to increase sales volume and profitability. Conducts market analysis to determine client needs, occupancy potential and rates desired.Participates in solving problems with other departments as required related to business booked in the hotel including space conflicts, threatened cancellations and compromises between customer needs and hotel facilities.Prepares reports as necessary to develop a more informative database for improved management decision making and critical evaluation of work activities.Provides value added service to customers by doing whatever is reasonable and possible to meet or exceed customer expectations.Ensure all established group policies are presented to client and followed.Follow-up with departed groups to ensure arrangements went as planned.Establish credit when appropriate, ensure all company monies are collected per established payment schedule.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED required.Associate's Degree/vocational or technical school degree preferred.1-2 years of Sales Representative experience preferredAbility to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law. Ability to pass a background check, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Products with ability to learn new software applications.Interpersonal skills: excellent communication skills, positive attitude and a customer service perspective. Motivated self-starter comfortable working both independently or in a team environment.Strong relationship management skills with peers, colleagues and management.
