The LMS Inside Sales Representative I is a critical contributor to our sales team, with a primary focus on supporting enterprise sales efforts through strategic business development activities. This role involves generating, qualifying, and nurturing leads to create opportunities for enterprise sales executives. As the representative gains experience and demonstrates success, responsibilities will expand to include managing customer accounts and driving direct sales.The position involves minimal travel, with most communication conducted via phone, email, and internet-based demonstrations or meetings. Ideal candidates are motivated self-starters with excellent communication skills, a consultative approach to sales, and a passion for delivering value to customers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Generate, qualify, and nurture leads to build a strong pipeline for enterprise sales executives.Conduct outreach to prospective customers to understand their needs and align them with our solutions.Schedule and coordinate meetings or demonstrations for enterprise sales executives.Collaborate closely with the enterprise sales team to ensure effective lead follow-up and successful outcomes.Close deals in a highly competitive, consultative selling environment.Up-sell to existing customers through education and providing additional product knowledge of software and services or new products and services.Collaborate independently with other departments (Operations, Marketing, Field Sales) to deliver insights and work as a team to secure new, large clients.Draft proposals and contracts for targeted prospects or existing customers.Provide expertise and advice while becoming a trusted advisor to prospects and current customers regarding product and service offerings.Share needs, issues, and ideas gathered from current and prospective customers to improve current products/services or to assist in potentially developing new products/services.Use CRM Software to maintain records of contacts, accounts, leads, opportunities, activities, and regularly provide updates and report generation to leadership.Provide insight to marketing and growth teams to generate qualified sales leads.Forecast and prepare sales plans to achieve sales goals.EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in business, communications, marketing or a related field or a combination of education and related experience.
EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years of experience creating/maintaining business relationships via telephone phone.
Customer service and call center experience a plus.
Proven track record of high performance and achieving goals.
Experience presenting via the web and in-person to both small and large groups.
Experience in education technology and software, as a service, sales a plus.

Self-driven with excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to take direction well.
Strong computer skills including sales software, presentation software, communications applications, and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Pay range for this role is $22.00-$25.00 an hour, depending on experience.
