Under minimal direction, the Inside Sales Engineer (ISE) provides quote support to customers by providing pre-sales, post-sales, and basic technical support.
The ISE II works with customers on sizing, selecting, and recommending equipment that matches application requirements. The ISE generates a quote that will result in the customer purchasing from Emerson. The ISE must be prepared to run face to face customer meeting in accordance with the proposal works.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Provides medium technical solutions, general application and consultative selling assistance to its customers. Coordinates with the other Inside Sales or Operational team, the multidivisional bundled project quotations. Works directly with customers, Field Sales and Field Service to provide presales application support and to generate formal quotations for customers. Lead the customer through the sizing and selection process to choose equipment that will meet their needs. Follow-up with customers to answer any questions or Logs Practice good phone skills in terms of the ability to open, handle a presales technical sales support call Provide support for other ISEs and team members to maintain service levels. Perform Handover with Operation and sales team in cases where the quote will be converted into an order Participate in the Continuous Improvements initiatives Maintain individual performance levels and ensure critical metrics stay aligned with targets Review periodically the inventory to quote stock options Applies the factory pricing policy in order to get a correct gross profit to each order received. Review estimate inputs from functional department and supervise of cost reports and price forms. Supervises current competitive prices, new techniques, and cost trends. Estimate project quantities and costs in the preparation of major tenders in a timely and efficient basis. Responsible for preparing all technical documentation for bids. Stays mostly inside in the office available to the customers. Keeps record of the incoming quotations and orders in CRM following the Proposals Guidelines Work in closing dates schedule by company and follow the organization arranged by Customer Care department. Verifies the incoming purchase orders of product selection and sizing correctness, completeness of any required configuration or application data sheet. Responsible for delivering clean orders to Intercompany Cell. Must follow the ethical principles, vision, mission and be aligned with the values defined by the top management of the company. Acquires the certification in products selling skills and applications knowledge that might be requested periodically by the division. Participate in all required training provided by the company, such as those related to Trade Compliance and all training related to compliance with legal regulations and / or Corporate Policies, and may also be the mentor/guide of these issues if it is required. Use knowledge of business drivers and how strategies and tactics play out in the market to guide actions For This Role, You Will Need: 4 or + year experience vital with sizing, selection and prepare quotation in valves and actuators. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering Must have proficiency in English language able to speak and understand a technical or commercial conversation.
