I'm Mike Galante and I lead sales for Emerson’s Heating Cable Systems product lines. 

As an Inside Sales Specialist focusing on the commercial/industrial segments, you'll contribute to the success of Emerson’s sales objectives by facilitating all sales-related processes, offering solutions to meet customer needs and developing existing and new customer relationships. This opportunity can be remote or based in Appleton Group’s Global HQ in Rosemont, IL (hybrid). 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Support Regional Sales Manager’s efforts in the field.  Communicate pricing and availability information and provide basic technical support to sales representatives, distributors, and end-users. Understand and interpret technical requirements for heat trace applications to craft the most effective solutions for our customers.  Coordinate the quotation process and generate proposals. Funnel new business leads to sales representatives after prequalifying information obtained from lead generation software. Support customer service activities in collaboration with the Customer Service team and sales representatives including order placement, shipment schedules, expediting, and dispute resolution. Participate in marketing activities such as product launches, trade shows, and email campaigns. Understanding and balancing the wants, needs, and expectations of internal & external partners. Maintaining a positive demeanor and forward-thinking approach while taking constructive action to navigate obstacles or setbacks. Asking the right questions and acquiring information from multiple and diverse sources to accurately analyze situations. Facilitating breakthroughs by integrating diverse views and finding common ground or acceptable alternatives. Delivering clear, problem-focused communication. 

 

For This Role, You Will Need:

Relevant work experience in Sales, Engineering or Manufacturing Proven Technical Inside Sales experience with customer-facing interactions. Ability to interpret electrical concepts & communicate them to customers and channel partners

 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Bachelor’s degree Familiarity with electrical / industrial distribution sales channels Knowledge of the industrial heat trace market including customers and applications

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $105,000 annually with a centerpoint bonus plan, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
