As the Inside Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in driving growth within the Watts Water Quality sales organization, specifically in the water treatment channel. You will focus on fostering customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and achieving sales goals, including revenue, margin, and market share growth. You will report to the Commercial Sales and Application Manager and contribute to the company’s growth strategy.
You Will:
Support bid and specification work by assisting Water Quality dealers and Lync representatives, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
Develop new business opportunities by building and managing a robust pipeline of potential clients and projects, aligning with the company’s growth strategy and targets.
Cultivate and maintain customer relationships, establishing long-term connections with both existing and potential customers to ensure a high level of satisfaction and repeat business.
Travel 20-30% of the time, meeting with customers in person, building rapport, and identifying their needs to provide tailored solutions.
Provide onsite training for customers, helping them fully understand and utilize Watts Water Quality products. Troubleshoot and resolve field system issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Drive sales and contribute to achieving goals, focusing on top-line revenue, margin improvement, and market share growth.
Prepare and present sales proposals, share pipeline status updates, and communicate sales strategy, data, and progress clearly and professionally to internal teams and management.
Regularly communicate with your manager and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on sales strategies, customer needs, and project timelines.
You Have:
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
7+ years of successful sales and account management experience.
Strong computer skills for quoting and sales tracking.
A solid technical background and/or aptitude.
The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000 yearly. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
