Inside Sales Specialist - Hybrid

Under minimal supervision, drives product sales by identifying, prioritizing, developing, and securing all relevant handled sales opportunities with an existing set of customer accounts. Establishes and fosters customer relationships and contacts in assigned account portfolio. Displays a strong understanding of programs that are presented as sales solutions for customers and the company in a mutually beneficial context. Establishes and maintains network of cross functional partnerships.
Salary Range: $ 59,700 - $89,500 *** based on skills and qualifications
Responsibilities (May perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned).
+ Meets or exceeds the sales targets. Manages budget, sales projections and goals, and expenses within company guidelines and policies. Constantly probes for “Share of Wallet” sales opportunities to act upon.
+ Sells the full complement of differentiated products, pricing, programs, and services via remote vehicles such as phone, email, and webinar. Manages organizational changes and initiatives with customer accounts.
+ Develops action plans for accounts and prioritizes them based on the greatest opportunity to grow overall sales volume.
+ Maintains a strong understanding of various programs including, eCommerce, MRO, Rental, Garden Centers, Marketing, and Merchandising.
+ Understands POS systems and electronic catalogs for enhancing customer connectivity to True Value. Works cross functionally with IT and Retail Systems teams to enhance the sales pipeline.
+ Provides telephone support to customers. Investigates and resolves customer issues related to deliveries, billing, and collections through partnerships with other internal functional teams such as Customer Care, Order Processing, Credit Services, Supply Chain, AR/AP, and others.
+ Utilizes CRM system to document sales activities. Creates new cases and/or updates existing cases in the CRM system and validates case related data.
+ Performs other job-related duties and projects as assigned.
Education & Experience
+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
+ 3 to 5 years of sales experience. Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, sales presentations, account development, and time and territory management from a remote setting.
+ Work experience in hardware/DIY retail and/or wholesale industry, preferred.
+ Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Work Environment: Generally, works in climate-controlled office environment.
Travel: 5 to 10% travel required, primarily to annual tradeshows and to corporate headquarters.
