What would you do as our Customer Service Supervisor?
You will oversee customer service representatives and order processing teams while working closely with the Inside Sales manager. You will also assist with sales performance metrics and supervise the entire sales administration process, leading and motivating the team to achieve goals and exceed customer expectations.
You would also:
Oversee and ensure timely processing of all customer orders. Work with customer service team to ensure customer satisfaction. Ensure proactive communication with customers regarding order issues, concerns, and service levels. Collaborate with the Inside Sales Manager to monitor sales performance and conduct weekly and monthly customer reviews to drive organic growth. Lead the development of departmental procedures to improve productivity and quality across the Service Center. Manage team schedules, including approving time-off requests and scheduling overtime, to maintain optimal staffing without affecting lead times or bookings. Assist with technical queries and participate in distributor training sessions alongside the sales team. Lead continuous improvement activities as needed or assigned. Oversee order scheduling, entry, and shipping to ensure quality products are delivered to customers on Coordinate the resolution of customer feedback and enhance order entry quality through training and reporting. Participate in a safe and harmonious working environment. Assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct. Other projects and assignments, as needed.
What we are looking for:
High school diploma or GED required; advanced education in Business, Industrial Technology, or Management preferred. Minimum of 5 years of related experience in industry sales, customer service, or a relevant industry environment. Strong creative business writing skills, with excellent verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to analyze data, define problems, and draw valid conclusions, including working with fractions, decimals, and metric measurements. Knowledge of ASSA ABLOY products and experience in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, and team coordination are preferred. Strong teamwork orientation, thriving in a collaborative environment that achieves collective goals. Ability to multitask and prioritize projects under tight time deadlines. Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word Knowledge or exposure to ERP systems and shipping software a plus.
