Inside Sales Support Specialist

Job Summary (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned)

Work closely with Sales, Front, Middle and Back Office(s) to prepare, manage and validate offers to clients and to also serve as a subject matter expert within the context of developing and maintaining a defined Data Processes for Champion. In addition, this role will serve as the point of customer fulfillment, providing technical support to the sales team, management and clients.

Job Responsibilities

Coordinate with Sales and internal systems, interfacing directly with customers and third-parties (e.g., energy brokers and consultants) to request and obtain historical electricity usage for new and existing clients. Coordinate within Retail Team and Desk(s) to resolve and refresh forecasted data and update consumption forecasts and obligations accordingly.

Sales Support

Support a national sales team by performing numerous commercial activities with little supervision including: client / prospect research, entry of activities into CRM system such as pricing and credit requests, sales planning, and follow up, and coordination of sales Serve as point of contact for customers seeking to add or delete accounts from service with Champion including coordination with utility company points of contact, sales manager, desk, and enrollments on contracts and internal record requirements. Contribute to CRM training for new sales team members, and on-going user support for existing sales team members. Identify and incorrect or outdated information in our CRM system and coordinate with Sales to update the data and generally contribute to our data governance efforts. Extract reports from CRM and other internal systems as prescribed by Sales Management. Serve as liaison to brokers and consultants on behalf of Champion by developing trustful relationships with utility personnel.

Job Requirements

Undergraduate degree in business or related field is preferred Three or more years of experience in deregulated energy markets or equivalent work experience preferred. Experience with administration of complex commercial transactions very Strong Microsoft Office suite skill General knowledge and experience with CRM systems. InRetail or Pricing / Data acquisition system experience. Experience with deregulated energy products and service offerings. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Sitting and standing for long periods of Occasional travel
