The Inside Territory Account Manager role is key for Bitdefender as the designated person will be responsible for managing our core and most strategic customers, working in close partnership with the extended Sales, Channel and Success Management teams. The purpose is to sell Bitdefender products and services effectively and deliver exceptional customer experiences while leveraging resources of the extended account team and channel partners.
Responsibilities:
New product sales, renewals and upsells in the allocated segment achieved through business partners or direct contact with end-users
Meets assigned new business and renewal related targets and strategic objectives in the agreed territory/segment/threshold
Proactively and timely manages the existing customer and new business pipeline by engaging with Bitdefender’s channel partners and end users
Accurately documents and updates the CRM with relevant information about prospective and existing customer base leveraging direct and indirect engagement via channel partners
Responsible for forecasting revenue projections with high accuracy and participates in forecast meetings with management and other stakeholders
Actively seeks to maximize installed base revenue through upsell/upgrade/cross-sell actions
Promotes marketing upselling & retention campaigns to drive revenue growth
Leads solution development efforts that best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary Bitdefender resources and partner personnel
Ability to develop territory growth plans in collaboration with TAM, R&R and Channel teams
Any other duties related to the role, as assigned by management
Qualifications:
2+ years of Sales experience and an understanding of a channel distribution model is a plus
Experience in technology/cybersecurity sales a plus
Negotiation, B2B, and closing skills
Must have a proven record of success in achieving measurable sales goals with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed a sales quota for retention and/or growth
Strong time management and organizational skills. Able to manage and meet multiple deadlines
Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong written communication, and oral presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills suitable for interacting with various departments, system personnel, all levels of management, and customers in the surrounding community
Knowledge of Salesforce CRM software and Microsoft Office preferred
Adaptive and flexible (changing technologies, processes, etc.)
Travel to territory on an as needed basis
