Overview: IntelliBridge is an award-winning national security company with an immediate opening for an Insider Threat Vulnerability Assessor – IA5 to support a federal client’s insider threat program. The Assessor will provide advice and expert guidance on security issues affecting business processes and procedures exploitable by the federal client’s insiders. It is preferred the Assessor have work experience in national security or security-related matters with an emphasis on IT. Also, highly desirable is proficiency in understanding security risk management concepts; the Insider Threat Vulnerability Assessor or other security-related certification; and experience with an intelligence-focused operational environment. This position is exempt.
Clearance: Active Top-Secret clearance is required at time of application. Candidate must have the ability to successfully complete a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph examination if successful CI Poly has not been recorded within the past five years.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Provides expert consulting and advisory expertise in organizational and vulnerability assessments, intelligence and threat analysis, and resolution of highly complex projects and problems. Conduct Analytical and critical thinking; (i.e. Understand problem set, review facts, make accurate observations and judgements and provide recommendations to management). Write clear, concise and timely intelligence products that identify, analyze and collate disparate pieces of technical information for a non-technical audience. Promotes the awareness of security issues among management and ensures sound security principles are practiced. Maintains a centralized database of corporate assets, including where they reside, the protections in place, and potential vulnerabilities. Performs regular threat cycle reviews to assess shifting or emerging threats and any associated vulnerabilities. Assesses the most critical assets and/or those exhibiting high vulnerabilities. Coordinates with stakeholders to assess and mitigate key vulnerabilities. Ensures management is informed of key vulnerabilities which could be exploited by insider threats. Prepares complete, clear, and concise formal and informal reports, correspondence, briefings, charts, tables, and graphs. Aggregate, analyze and evaluate available data to assess insider threat risk.Access and perform research on designated automated intelligence databases for the purpose of identifying information of interest to the customer. Develop information and technical support documents, summaries, reports, presentations, and other designated products in support of information and technical requirements. Conduct analytical and critical thinking by understanding the problem set, reviewing facts, making accurate observations and judgements, and providing recommendations to management.Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience required. Experience analyzing risk/vulnerability from a technological perspective, authoring reports, and conducting briefings that provide stakeholders with proactive, actionable insight about security concerns. Strong understanding of insider threat principles. Familiarity with basic cybersecurity principles such as two-person integrity, multifactor authentication, and least-privilege. Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to support business leaders, manage risk, and complete projects. Experience preparing complex studies/reports related to defined geographic or functional areas. Experience in the evaluation and interpretation of technical findings for a non-technical audience. Demonstrate proficiency in the use of word processing and Microsoft Office applications.Preferred Qualifications: CERT Insider Threat Vulnerability Assessor Training/Certificate (ITVA)
