As an Insights Manager, you will be responsible for managing medium to large scale secondary and digital analytics-based research projects within one of our fastest-growing accounts, focused on the Global Trade & Logistics sector. This will include using a suite of media monitoring and social listening tools, as well as deploying integrated measurement methodologies, to track communications, campaigns & events performance, and produce actionable insights to guide our clients’ communications and business strategies. The work will be primarily conducted in English so fluency, both written and verbal, is essential.
This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a highly visible, growing account and work with a large global client helping to analyse and shape their brand strategy and evaluate their performance. The rest of the time, the Insights Manager will lead or co-lead ad hoc research projects, spanning a variety of sectors and methodologies. Key Responsibilities:Be a key team member on the Global Trade & Logistics account, and work closely with senior leads and other managers, sharing responsibilities on the different workstreams Manage several workstreams within the account autonomously, from project management to financial tracking and resource planning Conduct secondary and digital analytics projects from start to finish, working on multiple projects within your main workstreams, and across a variety of sectors and methodologies on an ad hoc basis. This will include: -Analyse online coverage (traditional online and / or social media) -Monitor key brands & topics – including sensitive ones – for our clients -Perform integrated measurement and reporting for internal and external communications, campaigns and events -Identify key influencers and trends relevant to our clients -Benchmark our clients with their direct competition and peers Conduct landscape and whitespace analysis for our clients so they can define their positioning in a given topic or market Analyse quantitative and qualitative data, as well as historical performance, to produce actionable insights and strategic recommendations Writing presentations, using visual storytelling, and presenting to Edelman teams and / or clients Mentor junior analysts on the team with executing methodological approaches into real-life implementation and production Edelman teams & Client relationship management on specific workstreams; be responsible for day-to-day client communications, understand their needs, offer guidance and counsel, provide them with both strategic and operational recommendations Support the account leads with new business efforts with participation in proposal writing, including methodological design and costing Key Candidate Expectations:Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage medium to large scale projects from start to finish. High level of organisation and time management skills to effectively prioritise tasks and respond to requests Keen interest in the Global Trade & Logistics sector, previous experience with the sector is an advantage Substantial hands-on online & social listening experience, audience analysis or data/statistical analysis Experience in creating integrated communications measurement approaches and analysis, preferably with exposure to consumer insights and media research Expert knowledge of a mix of monitoring tools (TalkWalker, Brandwatch, Meltwater, etc.) Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and clearly communicate patterns and research findings in a clear and succinct way Experience creating presentations using visual storytelling and curating the ‘so what’ in write-ups Experience presenting to clients and managing stakeholder relationships, both internal and external Very high degree of attention to detail and accuracy Excellent verbal and written communication skills Deep knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) #LI-RT9
