Insite hazmat tech- floating multiple sites throughout L.A.  $25-$28 p/hr Working on site in LA at customer sites packing haz waste Monday-Friday 5AM - 1:30PM occasional OT; steady 8 hrs of work a day Floaters start time 5AM could start on client site of from CH office Customer service experience Floaters might drive company vehicles- Light duty is required- must have clean driving record.  Day in a life- between 1-3 sites a day. All in LA.  Sunset, Baldwin Park Medical Center, West LA Medical Center, Panorama City.  Typically, on one site all day.  Day in a life: collection, segregation of haz hospital waste—needles, expired meds, chemo drugs, IV bags, arsenic, solvents Respirator- shaved facial hair.  Shipment days- assist the truck drivers’ w/ identification.  Packing on site- then one of our Clean Harbors drivers collects packed haz waste Vaccines required on sites: Hep B, MMR, varicella vaccine, flu shot  Must pass a physical/drug test
