The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Graduate Accountantto join our finance team. In this role you will be primarily responsible for day to day and month end accounting duties, supporting the Accountant and Company Accountant. You will also assist the Finance Administrator with accounts processing, electronic banking and funds transfer and other general accounting and administration duties.

Responsibilities

Conduct monthly and weekly financial transactions and reporting as directed by the Company AccountantReconcile bank statements and general ledger accountsCompile data for monthly BAS lodgementConduct electronic banking and funds transfersAssisting with timesheet reporting on a weekly basisCompile data required for annual FBT return and other company tax return requirementsMaintain Fixed Assets RegisterProcess and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivableCreate and process invoices as requiredProcess and reconcile monthly credit card statementsProcess reimbursementsGeneral accounting and administration duties as required

Qualifications/Experience

Tertiary qualification in Business (Accountancy) or nearing completion.Knowledge and experience using MS Office suite, especially MS Excel.Familiarity with accounting systems with multiple cost centres.Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while working to schedule commitments.Strong team player with a positive and flexible attitude, high motivation and attention to detailDemonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines.

Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirementsAble to obtain an Australian Defence Security ClearanceYou may require a Foreign Work Authorisation (FWA) in order to perform this role. This is not a requirement set or determined by Boeing but by the Department of Defence under laws issued in 2024. Please refer to the Department of Defence website to understand these requirements.
