THE ROLE
Insomniac Events is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Operation Coordinator to join the Insomniac Music Group team in Los Angeles. This position will be hands-on experience in an exciting, fast-pace, friendly and inspired setting. This position reports to the Operations Manager and Director. This is not a remote position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Day-to-day operations on several imprints including A&R management, distribution, and coordination with marketing for release rolloutsSubmit Accounts Receivable invoices to manager for approval while cataloging and allocating new expensesAllocate royalty statements & sales from various sourcesMeta-data entry, publishing & recording catalog management Coordinate with legal department to prepare & track status of paperworkAssisting in the preparation and delivery of label best-of and festival focused compilations & mixesAssisting with uploads of label content to platforms like Soundcloud and YouTubeCoordinate new artist ingestion and release set upCoordinate with pub & sync team on various initiativesOther responsibilities and projects as provided by the Operations Manager and DirectorQUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of experience working in label and radio or related Entertainment Industry experiencePassion for Electronic Dance Music a mustKeen ability to work on a variety of projects at various stages and scopesAbility to general original ideas, and to think creatively about how to communicate them to audiencesExtensive knowledge of subjects relevant to specific dance genresKnowledge of the label and radio marketProficient uses of variety of metadata entry and recording equipmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projectsExcellent communication skills: both in person and digital and online platformsDemonstrated experience managing time, cost, risk, quality, resources, assets, and changing requirementsExperience in promoting offline events and music aplusWorking knowledge of web and mobile technologies, rich media, social, CMS, and technical platformsProficiency in MAC/PCWell versed in Microsoft Office Suite and Google docsBasic understanding in project management tools (i.e., MS Project, JIRA, Basecamp)WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environmentsMay work in drastic temperature climatesMust be willing to travel to work during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlinesApplicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa.
Pay Rate Range: $20.00 - $26.00 USD
