**Job Title: Inspection And Repair Operator**
**Job Description**
As an Inspection and Repair Operator, you will work with various soldering materials, boards, and components. Your primary tasks will involve using a solder iron to solder components and working with different metals and soldering pieces. You may be required to work in other areas if repair work is slow or perform repair work for other departments as required by the supervisor or business needs.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform soldering tasks using various soldering materials, boards, and components.
+ Use a solder iron to solder components accurately.
+ Inspect and repair both through-hole and surface mount components.
+ Execute Level 1 and Level 2 repairs on fine pitch components.
+ Conduct microscope inspections to ensure the quality of repairs.
+ Move between multiple jobs within the same shift as required by business needs.
+ Work in other areas or departments when repair work is slow.
+ Potentially perform additional repair-related functions such as X-ray or Add-On tasks.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in soldering, assembly, and SMT processes.
+ Experience with PCBA, through-hole, and surface mount soldering.
+ Certified to Level 2 Solder Repair.
+ Ability to perform Level 1 and Level 2 repairs on through-hole, surface mount, and fine pitch components.
+ Experience in production and microscope inspection.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to lift, push, pull, bend, and twist.
+ Manual dexterity and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
+ Good vision is required for detailed inspection work.
+ Capability to work as part of a team and under time constraints.
+ Flexibility to move between multiple jobs within the same shift.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
