Job Title: Inspection Technician
Job Description

The Material Inspector provides analytical support and services for all aspects of Raw Material Testing to support commercial manufacturing. This includes but is not limited to raw material and hard good testing as well as sampling.

ResponsibilitiesPerform inspection and measurements of hard goods and packaging materials, including color match, caliper, and ruler measurements.Perform instrumental analysis, including FTIR and UV Spectrophotometer.Perform simple wet chemistry testing of raw materials as needed.Participate in basic quality control procedures and inventory management.Maintain good record-keeping practices while adhering to quality and safety programs.Maintain accuracy and calibration of laboratory testing equipment.Use LIMS and other relevant computer software programs to collect or input data and information.Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records.Work flexible hours as needed to support production demands.Work well in both team and individual environments.Other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsHigh School diploma or GEDBasic understanding of GMPsGood mechanical aptitude and skills as well as experience in inspection procedures and/or the product lineAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, etc.)1 year of experience in GMP regulated QC experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsVisual inspectionGood documentation practicesProficiency in using calipers, measuring tools, and rulersFinished in-process inspection and packagingExperience with hand toolsWork Environment

Work in a GMP-regulated environment with flexible shift hours: 8am-5pm, 7am-4pm, or 9am-6pm. The role involves the use of laboratory equipment and requires adherence to safety and quality standards. The position offers long-term opportunities and the chance to gain pharmaceutical experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.80 - $20.00
