What You Will Do

Inspect rework and assembly performed by others, and solder electronic components per IPC-A-610 and J-STD. Complete one’s own rework and assembly as required.Articulate and understand written instructions from customer flow down, such as purchase orders and customer technical documentation.Read and interpret technical data such as component maintenance manuals (CMMs), assembly/work instructions, and engineering prints.Use tools such as solder iron, torque tools, and other assembly equipment.Comply with ESD and FOD programs.Provide constructive feedback to teammates when corrections are needed.Work with minimal oversight and in a multi-discipline team environment, providing insight and solutions to complicated issues both technical and procedural.

Qualifications You Must Have

HS diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 4 years of relevant experience is requiredU.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here:  https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior electronic assembly/inspection experience in the aerospace industryPrevious experience coaching teammatesAbility to obtain a Class III Solder Exam
