**Job Title: Inspector** **Job Description** Aerotek is looking for a contractor to perform emissions testing generated at the USX Clairton Works plant. This position is open due to growth. The person will be responsible for recording observations of emissions from the coke-making process in accordance with state and federal regulations, communicating professionally with supervisors and clients on-site, and utilizing MS Office to input observations of emission data. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors and walking around the site, as well as performing basic mathematical calculations. **Hard Skills** + 1+ year of experience working in a heavy industrial setting (power plant, steel mill, etc) + 6+ months experience using Microsoft Office + High School Diploma or GED + Basic knowledge of computers/technology **Soft Skills** + Ability to communicate professionally with supervisors and clients + Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Clairton, Pennsylvania. **Work Environment** This person will be working at the US Steel Clairton Works plant 90% of the time and may occasionally go to the office for safety meetings. The shift is Thursday-Monday, typically 7am-3pm, with occasional Saturdays if needed. Full PPE will be provided, including a hard hat, gloves, glasses, and a high visibility vest.
