Description:

- Will report directly to SFPUC Chief Inspector and Chief MEP inspector

- Will work alongside resident engineer (hiring manager, Jim Grundhoffer), assistant resident engineers, other inspectors, contractors, engineers, and lastly owners rep construction manager staff

- Will support a variety of MEP projects and systems - chemical or manufacturing including piping, equipment and instrumentation construction, electrical power distribution systems conduit and wiring

- Be responsible for the quality of build out of the control system that will be plant wide, work alongside Emerson for control system that will be plant wide

- Execute punch lists and participate/lead punch lists walks, complete delegated punch list duties

- Inspect the build out of stainless steel duct and piping, support the process system piping

- Pressure testing the odor control, inspecting air quality and odor fall out from the plant

- Have you ever led a team of inspectors and worked directly with a public agency as an end client?

- Are you familiar with process system piping?

- What types of QA/QC work have you completed in previous jobs?

- What control systems are you familiar with?

- Is 5 days on site in San Francisco doable for you? Is the commute okay?

- Are you familiar with Arcadis?

- Industrial construction experience

- Experience working alongside inspection teams and coordinating with a dynamic group, working with civil engineers, MEP superintendents, and contractors

- Experience working through MEP construction (can be flexible but dependent on their experience), doesn't have to be inspection specifically, can be design or construction management experience
