Job Description:
Join a leading engineering consulting firm as a Resident Engineer in NYC! This long-term opportunity offers significant growth potential within one of the area's premier firms. In this role, you will oversee street tree planning projects across all five boroughs, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct 100% fieldwork focused on street tree planning projects within a designated borough.Monitor contractors on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure adequate staffing for project needs.Work closely with the Parks Department and contractors to facilitate smooth project progress.Utilize specification books to ensure project requirements are met.Promote a safe work environment, ensuring all contractors wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Record and track measurements for pay items such as tree planting and excavation.Schedule:
Working hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 4:00PM.Qualifications:
Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in the construction industry.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.Strong attention to detail and excellent report writing skills.Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.Must possess a personal vehicle.OSHA 10 certification required.Join our team and make a difference in urban environments
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $38.00
