Job Description

We are seeking a Level 1 Inspector with experience in medical devices and small parts to join our team. This position offers a 1st Shift schedule from 5am to 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday. Our company specializes in the manufacturing of electrical feedthroughs, opto-electronic windows, and various ceramic to metal seals, bonds, and packages.

ResponsibilitiesInspect parts per drawings and requirements to ensure conformityGenerate non-conforming reports when parts do not meet specificationsUtilize inspection tools such as helium leak detectors, calipers, and optical comparatorsRead and understand drawingsCarry out daily and weekly tasksHelp troubleshoot and source experts when neededMaintain a safe and clean working areaParticipate in required company trainingPerform detailed inspections of small, precision metallic and ceramic components for use in medical, defense, and industrial applicationsEssential Skills2-3 years of QC Inspector or medical device experience working with very small partsProficiency in using a microscope for inspecting small partsAbility to read and write in EnglishAbility to read and interpret SOPs, blueprints, and instructionsExperience with GD&T (highly preferred)Additional Skills & QualificationsComfortable with a slow process due to the niche product and learning curveKnowledge of ITAR regulationsWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

You will be working in a semi-clean room environment. Our company is a leader in the joining of dissimilar materials, manufacturing electrical feedthroughs, opto-electronic windows, and various ceramic to metal seals, bonds, and packages. Gloves and other safety equipment are required while working.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Ana, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00
