Job Description
This individual will be responsible for inspecting military products through initial, intermediate, and final stages. Additionally, the role includes maintaining calibration of measurement equipment and managing quality-related documents and records. The inspector will use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure that all parts meet government/military standards. The role involves both office work and significant time spent on the production floor, inspecting a variety of parts from metal pieces to tents used to prevent hazardous material spread.
ResponsibilitiesConduct initial, intermediate, and final inspections of military products.Maintain calibration of measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Manage and track quality-related documents and records.Ensure all parts meet government/military standards.Utilize calipers, micrometers, and gauges for inspection.Spend time on the production floor inspecting various parts.Read and interpret product drawings.Interpret Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and perform risk mitigation.Essential SkillsProficiency in using dial inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.Ability to read and interpret product drawings.Ability to interpret Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).Additional Skills & Qualifications5-10 years of experience using dial inspection equipment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is not fully climate controlled, with fans provided during hot weather and heaters during cold weather. Candidates should be prepared with long sleeves and long pants. The role also involves working with fiberglass at times.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $24.00
