Summary: Seeking a Quality Inspector to perform routine visual and dimensional inspections on sub-assemblies, completed assemblies, and work in-process components to ensure compliance with specifications.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 1 year of experience in quality inspection of electronic components and in-process inspection of electronic printed circuit boards and assemblies Ability to obtain IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies Certification and IPC J-STD-001 Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies (Inspection module only) within two weeks of hire Ability to read technical drawings and use standard measuring tools/instruments Basic arithmetic skills, including decimals and fractions Basic computer proficiency for data entry Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs Ability to communicate and interface on quality-related topics daily

Preferred Skills:

Experience with mechanical and electrical inspection operations Familiarity with wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and inspection procedures Knowledge of PCB assembly inspection for telemetry systems and other electronic equipment Understanding of electrical wiring connections and component layout compliance

Job Responsibilities:

Perform repetitive visual and dimensional inspections on vendor-supplied mechanical and electronic components Conduct visual, mechanical, and electrical inspections and basic functional tests on select components Work from wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and specifications to perform in-process inspections Follow detailed instructions and inspection procedures for receiving and in-process inspections

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
