If you’re an Inspector, we have an exciting opportunity for you.  The Inspector reports to the manufacturing supervisor and is responsible for the analysis and interpretation of blueprints, routings, evaluation sheets, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, and certification methods, required. This position typically works under close supervision, uses limited decision-making and has limited contact with external suppliers or customersWhat You Will Be Doing Analyze and interpret blueprints, routings, evaluation sheets, manuals and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment and certification methods, formulas, and measuring instruments required.Discuss inspection results with those responsible for part and operate basic inspection equipment (e.g., microscope, functional gauges, plug gage, and micrometer).Measure and inspect dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers and maintain inspection files and quality records.Complete and review product paperwork, verifying all paperwork is present and filled out appropriately. What We Are Looking For High School Diploma required.Experience in a similar, heavily regulated industry is highly preferredDrawings and Diagrams: The ability to read, interpret and use the information presented in drawings, diagrams and blueprints to determine appropriate activities, tools, and next steps in the production processThe ability to accomplish a task with concern for all the areas involved, including the ability to notice minute inconsistencies/faults in parts, equipment, or production processes to prevent faulty products leaving the facilityKnowledge of how quality impacts the success of the organization including costs to customers, costs of recalls and potential costs due to negative impacts on a company's reputation.
