**Job Title: Inspector** **Job Description** We are seeking a diligent and experienced Inspector to ensure quality processes and procedures are met through receiving, in-process, and final inspections. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in aerospace inspection and will be proficient in using various inspection tools and techniques. **Responsibilities** + Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections to ensure quality processes and procedures are adhered to. + Complete required documentation accurately and on time. + Conduct AS9102 first article inspections and other extensive inspections as per specifications. + Document all inspections in accordance with established procedures and processes. + Develop and review inspection plans to maintain quality standards. + Ensure all components and assemblies meet quality standards for final acceptance. + Maintain parts history folders, inspection reports, and prints/drawings. + Calibrate and document hand tools and other inspection equipment. + Perform visual inspections and hardness and electrical conductivity testing. **Essential Skills** + 3-5 years of aerospace inspection experience. + Experience with AS9102 inspection standards. + Proficient in inspecting tubular/cylindrical components. + Expertise in using calipers, micrometers, surface plates, and gauges. + Ability to use both manual and digital calipers and micrometers. + Capability to measure tolerances to the tenths with no error. + Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) symbols. + Strong computer skills and the ability to document work in an ERP system. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) is a plus, but not required. **Why Work Here?** We offer great tenure and long-term growth opportunities. We have recently completed an extensive modernization effort, creating a contemporary, eco-friendly, and environmentally compliant state-of-the-art industrial enterprise. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SANTA FE SPRINGS, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $30.00/hr.
