Description:Requires final inspection, operational checking and in process inspection of one or more specialized systems such as electrical, plumbing, and hydraulics, power plant, rigging and controls and structures on completed aerospace vehicles during final manufacturing acceptance or modification and cycle maintenance programs. Inspects work for quality, completeness, proper function, and adherence to specifications. Rejects or orders rework. Inspects material review items for acceptability after disposition has been completed.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be able to:
-Read and interpret Engineering drawings
-Use precision measurement equipment.
-Use computer programs such as Word, Excel, etc..
Desired Skills:
Must be able to work any shift.

Knowledge of inspection theory

Knowledge of Aerospace manufacturing methods

Experience with surveillance/oversight inspections

Must be able to effectively interact with Engineering, Production, and Corrective Action personnel.

6 years experience in Military or general aviation maintenance

4 years experience as an Inspector on a production line

Associates Degree in Aviation Maintenance Program or equivalent

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
