Objective
This position is responsible for evaluating the condition of used equipment by performing visual and functionality inspections to support the growth of used equipment sales.
ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities:
Generate revenue by preforming accurate and detailed visual and functionality inspections on equipment at customer job sites and/or in-shopCoordinate and schedule inspections with customers and appropriate sales representativesEnsure all documentation is thorough and accurate, including pictures documentation as neededProvide customer service that meets or exceeds customer expectationsAssist in daily sales and listings of Used Equipment Consignment ProgramGenerate sales leads by determining customer needs and identifying equipment, services, and/or parts that MacAllister provides and routes sales leads to appropriate sales representativeQualificationsRequired:
High School Diploma or GED3 to 5 years of experience with Heavy EquipmentValid Driver’s LicensePreferred
Associate’s Degree or Technical School Certification related to Heavy Equipment or Diesel Technology5 years or more of experience with Heavy Equipment, preferably Caterpillar equipmentKnowledge, Skills, And Abilities
