JMT's Construction Management Team is seeking a CEI Inspector. The successful candidates will apply standard quality assurance and inspection procedures to ongoing activities during and after construction for structural quality, general safety and conformance to plans, specifications and codes. 

This is a Quality Assurance / Inspection Position for highway construction projects. This position includes verification and documentation of compliance with contract requirements and TxDOT Construction.

Essential functions and responsibilities:

Review and interpret plans, site layouts, specifications and construction methods to ensure compliance with contract requirements and safety regulations Perform verification of conformance to standards for testing on asphalt, concrete, soils, and other materials Ability to measure dimensions and verify level, alignment, and elevation of structures, fixtures, grades and/or pavement to ensure compliance to plans and codes Record field notes, other documentation, computations and prepares reports Gathers, review, and maintains project records (using SiteManager and other documentation systems)
